A small flower and medicinal herb farm in the heart of so called Cully neighborhood!
Meet Sleepy Bee Flower Farm
Sleepy Bee Flower Farm is a very small (micro, you might say) flower and medicinal herb production on 1/3 of an acre in the Cully neighborhood of Portland, OR. It is run by Bailey and Mae, who met while working on a veggie farm in 2021 and have been pals ever since. Having the kismet opportunity to move to a house together with ample growing space was an absolute delight. They made quick moves to prep the land and get some seeds started at the beginning of 2025 and see what kind of blooms could be put together in a year's time.

Having both worked on several CSA and market garden vegetable farms that require a level of hustle, repetition, and quite honestly intense wear on the body--Sleepy Bee became a haven not only for the bees, but for Mae and Bailey as well. A growing space to slow down, remember, feel deeply, and let the petals and humming pollinators map a soundscape of calm for the nervous system. It became a space to ground, feel inspiration, and revitalize. We are excited for our second season and to share this space with more folks in the community. Farming has nestled a little ember in both of our beings, at times a roaring fire moving us brightly, that we love to share.
